Help create an entire product image suite for a slick new product that lets you watch Hulu, YouTube, etc. on your TV via your PS3, XBOX360, or other device. Already 10,000 folks are beta testing this new software - and the feedback has been overwhelming - help us create the brand that will take it to the next level!
PlayOn
We (MediaMall Technologies, http://www.themediamall.com) have a new consumer product called PlayOn (http://www.getplayon.com). It is software you install on your PC that enables you to watch online videos directly on your television from Hulu, CBS, YouTube, Netflix, and many others, through your PLAYSTATION 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo Wii, HP MediaSmart TV, and a number of other devices and game consoles. In other words, you can watch Hulu and YouTube on your TV, instead of sitting in front of your computer.
We need to make an entire logo and product image suite for PlayOn. This includes everything from a 16x16 icon image for a Windows system tray, 32x32 & 48x48 product application icons, and all the way up to much larger images that can be used for product promotions, commercials, website banners, and of course on our own website: http://www.themediamall.com.
- The logo needs to be able to stand alone small as well as larger, so it's fine if eg. the text "PlayOn" isn't part of the logo while it's a tiny image. So, at some level, there needs to be a graphical representation of "PlayOn" that doesn't necessarily include the text itself.
- The logo doesn't need to "match" our corporate logo/website at all, but it shouldn't "clash" too badly either. That said, we would rather have a cool design than worry too much about matching our MediaMall logo and website. We are not locked into any specific color schemes. We just want to have a cool, recognizable, and brandable look for our PlayOn product.
- We don't want the "Play" to be interpreted as "playing a game" (even though this is targeted primarily to people who own game consoles), but more as "playing videos".
- We don't want the "On" to be interpreted as "on/off", but more as "online".
