I am the director of a small company in Australia producing a small exclusive range of handpoured natural soy wax scented candles. (Bougie being the french word for candle) Our focus is on classic scents inspired by my travels throughout France. You will not find scents such as "creme brulee" or "new car" in our range. Each scent captures a moment and tells a wee story. Pomander Bougies are made from only the finest natural soy waxes & fragrances, poured into quality crystal glass containers. They now require delightful, memorable packaging which is where you come in.
The consumer is likely to be a 30+ female. She is a lover of fragrances and fine things in general, willing to spend a little more for a unique and quality product. She is not an online shopper which is okay because Pomander Bougies will not be found in shopping carts, they will be stocked on the shelves of high end boutiques where they look best.
We are looking for an original logo for Pomander Bougies.
No clip art or istock photos please.
It would be a good idea to google "pomander' to get an understanding of what it is - rather than a lengthy explanation from myself .
The logo is required for print & for a new website & needs to work in black & white also.
The aim is to have a clean, strong & elegant logo that conveys quality. The moulin rouge font & logo displays this well which I have attached. It is easily read, but still stylish & somehow feminine.
Please no curly, frilly type French fonts. That look is too soft.
I have attached an image of a pomander locket, this is a look that I am happy to see incorporated into the logo but without the confusion of it looking like a jewellery brand.
A modern pomander is made of an orange & cloves which is something that can be considered also.
The packaging will be of orange background which already incorporates a feature of the more modern pomander and has impact. I would like to see font options in Dark Blue or Black & an Option using a splash of silver also.
The logo needs to fit into a rectangular shape, longest part of the rectangle being in the width.
Please include in a smaller different type font:
Bougie Parfumee - Scented Candle
Note: there is an accent above the first "e" of parfumee
