Housing Opportunities to Ultimately Shelter Everyone, Inc (HOUSE, Inc.) was formed in July 2021 for the charitable purpose of providing transitional shared housing for individuals experiencing housing insecurities or who need to live in a drug and alcohol-free environment. HOUSE, Inc.'s services will: - Provide recovery assistance and relief for poor and distressed individuals. - Prevent homelessness and end poverty. - Improve physical, mental, spiritual, and social well-being. - Reunite families. HOUSE, Inc. aims to help individuals who would not qualify for suitable housing for several reasons. Many people we aim to help have a history of mental illness, domestic abuse, or other trauma and a history of addiction or incarceration. HOUSE, Inc.'s shared housing solution gives them another chance to integrate into society as fully functioning citizens. We will be operating our homes in safe neighborhoods. We look for single-family homes, 3 to 4 bedrooms. It is important that the locations promote a sense of community. A home will ideally not be in a congested city, the home should have enough yard space to allow some privacy and relaxation. Many of our potential residents will be women who have a history of PTSD, depression, anxiety, addiction, and abuse so it is important that they have the impression that we are a group that they can trust and feel safe. This is a second chance for them, and in many cases, these individuals have hit rock bottom. We are here to help them back into a happy and productive life. Our shared housing model has been used across the US and other countries very successfully. There will be 2 residents per bedroom as having roommates and being social with others in a similar situation helps with recovery. Residents have chores and leadership roles within the house. They hold weekly meetings for governance and for participation in extracurricular activities like yoga or life classes. The principle concept is that residents use each other to help them get through this tough time, but HOUSE, Inc. will provide them all the opportunity to make that happen.

STYLE I’m interested in vintage-style emblem logos. KEY VALUES Trust, safety, caring, giving, professionalism are important values. IDEAS - I like the idea of nature being a part of the design. - I like the small-town feel or suburban-type environment. But not farm, not the city. I'm thinking of a nice home, a tree, and a small yard. - I like the colors in the images attached but will be open to your ideas. - I think the full charity name may be too long to include in the design, but if you can do it well, please do. - I would consider designs with or without a slogan such as: "Ending Homelessness and Poverty" or "Preventing Homelessness" or "Helping to Prevent Homeless" Here's our website: houseinc501c3.org
