joeywarren needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 43 designs submitted by 14 freelance designers.
A local Audio Visual company, specialising in orchestral, choral, world and acoustic music recording and live sound. We are not-for-profit, and have existed entirely on word of mouth for work. We now need to get serious, and we're suffering from the lack of a corporate presence on the web and other places.
Charity Audio Visual
Tagline:
Of Sound Community Service (others are welcome too!!)
Desired Color Scheme:
Open, needs to be smart, readable on all formats of publishing. Purples, blues, greens?
Desired Style:
The style is open, and we expect our feedback to shape the final winner's design. This is why we 100% promise to feedback on each design! (no "graffiti style" through please!) Please try to reflect the genre of the music we generally provide PA & recordi
Accepted File Formats:
Full editable formats, plus rendered gif / jpg
We're looking for different ideas for website banner logos which can easily be adapted (and please show they can be adapted) for other uses - so flexibility is also important!
This contact will probably lead to a full web design contract for the winner, however the logos are what we need immediately!
The company name is "Charity Audio Visual" - and we like the idea of using "ChAV" as an acronym for the short versions of the logo. (in the UK, ChAV is a well-known term of "endearment" for a Burberry-clad footballers-wife!)
For longer versions of the logo (such as the banner logo??), we could use a strapline such as "Of Sound Community Service", or the longer company name.
We do recognise that some logos look too wordy, and will review anything which reflects the community, charitable and technical nature of the work we do.. the above are NOT rules, they are **just** our current ideas.
Colours are open, but avoid pinks please - these logos need to appeal to people like local young unsigned artists, event organsisers and local record label A&R.
The logos need to look current, ahead of the game, young.... but not too "street" culture please.
The style is open, and we expect our feedback to shape the final winner's design. This is why we 100% promise to feedback on each design!
We will review EVERY entry with a keen eye, and provide a full, frank and fair level of feedback !
We will also acknowledge your logo designs with your full contact details on any website we have designed with your work... fair's fair?!
