I'm a web programmer who likes to be conscious of all things tech, health, and spirituality. I'm a sole proprietor who will be working solo on web programming gigs.
Many of those who will be employing my services will be business owners. They'll range greatly in age and in interests. My company will appeal to small to medium-large businesses who are looking to have a presence on the web. I'm not yet in the league of being able to solely program a site for a Best Buy-type company, so I don't need to appeal to large corporations.
I'm in need of a logo to begin the branding of my company. Cyfer is a play on the word Cipher, which is defined as a message written in secret code. To many, this is exactly what web programming languages are: indecipherable, garbled code.
I wouldn't like any 3D elements in the design, unless you can convince me that it would translate well across different printing methods. For example, the logo should work just as well when faxing (black on white) as it would as a full-coloured PNG on a website.
Ideally, an element of the logo (or the entire thing) could be used on its own where space would not allow for text (e.g. Favicon logo in the address bar of a website)
I'm thinking of orange as being the signature colour of my company, but feel free to experiment with other colours as you desire.
