New logo wanted for Youth Media Workshop for UNICEF Belize

UNICEF works through a programme of cooperation with the Government of Belize to ensure that the rights of children, adolescents and women are protected, respected, and fulfilled. We are an main advocate for children's rights globally and in Belize. For the purpose of this logo design we wish to promote children's rights to express their opinions, have a voice and be heard through media

The idea behind the logo is to symbolize a new group of youth media journalists. They are vibrant, young, have a voice/opinion, visible and confident. They represent the interest of young people in Belize. They represent the interests of their communities and the multicultural society that is Belize. Their work will include promotion of their own rights to education, health, play, protection, recreation, culture etc...They will develop blogs, photography, videography, radio, social media networks. Much of this is new to young people from the most disadvantaged groups in Belize. They will be our target audience. The project is about giving the most disadvantaged a voice - not as activists but as change makers and agents of their own development.
