UTa.gs
*UTa.gs is a URL shortener for Charity. See http://uta.gs
UTa.gs (Pronounced You-Tags) is a website that will allow bloggers, Tweeters, Facebook users, websites and people passionate about a particular charitable cause to easily shorten a URL for free, and advertise the charity of their choice and share that shortened URL with their audience. This idea was born out of the realization that social influence is growing and people with an existing audience should be able to easily share their cause, whether it be cancer, animal welfare or saving the children to help others. So, imagine a site like bit.ly except that instead of jumping directly to an article, the user is first presented with an advertisement for a charity. You can go here to our very super beta (not ready for release) website to get a feel for how this works. Here's a sample page: uta.gs/99designs-utags - don't worry about the design or colors on the existing website, that's all going to change.
