Christian Iversen got their new logo design by running a design contest:
New logo wanted for Iversen IT
Check out Christian Iversen's Logo design contest…
Iversen IT is a consulting company that helps with IT strategy optimization, project management and software development. We are branching out and hiring in new talent, and we need design material that reflects this. Firstly, we need a new logo. After that, I will start a new homepage contest. I like completely abstract logos, but if you would like to try the pictorial mark style, here are some keywords that might be helpful: Computers, Programming, Code, Solutions, Consulting.
Logo types to explore
We are going for a somewhat conservative look without too much action going on in the logo. I strongly prefer simple, abstract shapes that are recognizable. I am NOT looking for word marks or similar. As I am contemplating changing the company name, please do not incorporate "Iversen IT" into the logo in a way that makes it difficult to change for another name later. I have traditionally used a certain shade of blue (#0088FF) along with black and white, for my print/web needs. It looks ok, but it's a dated look. I wouldn't mind a more fresh look, with more color. I'm open for suggestions, and I'm quite fond of medium-to-strong colors, especially several primary colors used together. I have included some logos that I like. I'm not necessarily looking for something that looks very similar, but I hope it's useful to get an idea what kind of designs I like. I would like the logo to be simple enough that it itself, or a simplified version of it, can be made into a favicon. If this makes it very difficult to design the logo, you are welcome to suggest other possibilities, but square-ish logos are preferred. I you have any questions at all, please contact me.
