How Pinnacle Programs started their logo design journey
We are a new company specializing in sales training for professionals in the insurance and financial services industries. We are veterans of the industry and delivering education and training services in the traditional in-person, seminar, style, but are also heavily investing in online-based training and video work. We are based in the U.S. and will spend most of our time in the U.S. with independent insurance brokers, but we will also do some work in English-speaking countries outside the U.S.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our target audience are senior executives of insurance brokerage firms for primarily commercial property & liability insurance, as well as employee benefits. These are typically white males in their 40s and 50s, with 20-30 years of corporate experience. Although there are already a number of sales trainers (7-10) in the insurance industry, none have the combination of brokerage and underwriting experience of our founders. Nor has the market seen the extensive use of video and web-based training we will offer.
Our name, "Cazador", is the spanish word for hunter because we are teaching sales professionals how to "hunt" for new accounts. Our motto is "Scout. Score. Strengthen." Our slogan is "The Sales & Marketing Performance Specialists." We do NOT want the image of a hunter itself, but the theme of helping people to strengthen their sales skills is appropriate.
Our preferred color scheme for website, logo, letterhead, and brochure is black, gold, and burgundy. We will use 99designs for additional contests to design a WordPress website them; a Twitter background; a brochure; and a PPT template. Designers of this logo can also let us know if they have experience in these other areas of design.
