Noam Yalon needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 231 designs submitted by 30 freelance designers.
South Jersey Sports and Spine Medicine
Meryl Stein, MD of South Jersey Sports and Spine Medicine non-surgically treats sports, spine, and other musculoskeletal injuries. She uses an evidence-based approach to improve the quality of life for her patients whether they are elite athletes, "weekend warriors", or senior citizens with back pain. She treats the entire range of neuromusculoskeletal injuries, including repetitive-motion type injuries such as carpal tunnel syndrome, acute or sub-acute musculoskeletal injuries such as ankle sprains and shoulder injuries/pain, neck and back pain, and osteoarthritis. She is board certified in both Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and in Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Dr. Stein is also a licensed acupuncturist.
The target audience is referring physicians and current, new and prospective patients.
Logo must be created in CS4 Abobe Illustrator.
Final version will be:
1. Created entirely in vector art (create outlines for type). Needs to be scalable
2. Create logo in CMYK (or Pantone) and black and white
3. Final product must be usable for web and print.
Seeing the logo with a few suggested colors would be helpful. A logo that involves the name and a graphical element representative of my business will be more likely to win.
Keep in mind that the logo will be used on website, business cards, letterhead, advertising brochures, give away items (pens, letter openers, mugs, post-it pads, etc.)
Feel free to be creative with concepts. The word and can be represented by the letters "and" or the ampersand (&).

Logos that include creative designs that have creative graphical elements that represent our services will have a higher likelihood of winning the contest. Alternatively logos that are graphically unique while remaining conservative and professional and easily readable will also be strongly considered.
Fonts I like include: Tempas Sans ITC,
Thorndale for VST, Sylfaen, Baskerville Oldface, Book Antiqua, Californian FB,
Century, Century Schoolbook, Felix tilting, Footlight MT, Garamond, Lucida Bright, Papyrus, and Poor Richard. However, please feel free to try any font you think appropriate
