The Freeport Inn & Marina
I own and operate an exterior 60 room property on a marina. The property was a huge hit in the 60's , 70's and 80's. Overtime it became more run down and for the past 3 years it has undergone renovations to bring a better client base back. The rooms have all been renovated and the new lobby renovation is coming this spring. I'm trying to get across that this place is on the way up not down and out.
This is a seasonal business and we do the bulk of our business in the warmer months. We attract people coming for local concerts, families, funerals, people that just want to get out of the city for a weekend. We also have a long strip of bars and restaurants on the water that is near us. We are looking for nice clean people. No riff raff
We have a logo now. It has a nautical theme which we dont mind. We have plans to build a restaurant and bar on the premises. The logo for that has just been created and has been uploaded for a sample. We are looking for something to compliment it but we are also looking for our absolute own identity. It must compliment but not compete. The property is about the hotel. We are looking for a new sign. Something to really catch people's attention. The style of the building is built in the 60's so that should be kept in mind. Elements of nostalgia, water, inviting, clean, classy but not 5 star upscale. It must get across that it is still al limited service place. Colors for exterior have not yet been determined so feel free to experiment. Maybe it will inspire something. I'll be watching closely and commenting. Good luck and please PM with any questions. the current website is thefreeportinn.com You can see new room pictures and some basic exterior shots. a lot of changes going forward will be made.
