mariusGj got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for open source software project used for data analysis
Check out mariusGj's Logo design contest…
This is for a software project that is used to perform analysis of large-scale datasets.
This project utilizes the Go programming language, and a logo might incorporate the "Go gopher", which is licensed liberally (and I am happy to include the required attribution): https://blog.golang.org/gopher For example, a Go gopher that is holding a slice of pizza (in the same style), playing on the name "bigslice". * Another potential idea to explore is the fact that this project is used to analyze large-scale data sets, of which one can take a 'big slice': e.g., a pizza made out of data, from which a slice is made. * Another potential direction is to riff on the data analysis part of this. For example, the Gopher from above might be examining a large amount of data with a magnifying glass.
