The Performance Marketing Alliance is a not-for-profit trade association founded by industry leaders to connect, inform and advocate on behalf of the growing performance marketing field. The PMA allows more than 200,000 performance marketers across the country to share ideas, explore opportunities and speak in unison.
• We help raise the profile of performance marketing by cultivating a positive image and encouraging participation in this marketing channel.
• We provide thought leadership.
• We share the collective knowledge of the performance marketing community to help individual members become more successful.
• We investigate issues facing the industry, educate our stakeholders and coordinate advocacy efforts, speaking for the industry with a unified voice.
Advertisers and publishers of performance ads, ad networks, solution providers, legislators, and the media.
Our organization provides best practices, thought leadership, industry analysis, and advocacy for our members and the industry at large.
Our members range from very large companies, like Amazon, eBay and Google, to very small independent businesses, and these companies all form partnerships together. It is unique when small companies and giants get to partner together, and it is an important characteristic of our industry.
The PMA was formed, in part, because we have such a disparate target market; their needs and perspectives are all different. We're trying to foster understanding between these groups and be the unified voice of the industry.
We represent the advertising industry and we're new, so we want an logo that is contemporary. I don't want something too 'corporatey' or stiff; some whimsy is good. We want to become the center of our industry, so we DO NOT want something subtle.
If there was one phrase that we want to capture, it would be "Unified Voice for our industry".
We want a logo that will be used online, in print materials (especially business cards), in presentations, on exhibit signage.
We use the acronym: PMA
Organization: Performance Marketing Alliance, Inc.
I like this logo from another association:
http://www.iab.net/ (simple, clean, a little whimsy)
One I don't like: http://www.the-dma.org/index.php (boring!)
Our existing logo (http://www.performancemarketingalliance.com) is not working for me. It really isn't usable in other mediums besides the website. The logo color scheme is impossible to repurpose.
I have no preference on color scheme, our corporate colors can be dictated by the logo. Various gradations and shading make it costly to reproduce, that is my only input to color.
