Great design and the designer was easy to work with!!!
How mediacoach started their logo design journey
We are a group of around ten young musicians, including one female singer who are performing already for a few years on various events: from street events, promotion events for advertising companies as well as for different companies who want to erect attention for either their products or give their business events a special, colorful touch!
To make it short: we perform where our customers want to have a flexible, colorful but nevertheless musically top and - above all - unplugged band.
Our band consists of at least 3 saxophones, 2 trumpets, 1 tuba, percussion, 1 female singer and some times for certain events 2 ambitious girls keen on dancing and performing to animate the audience.
As we perform completely unplugged, we are always on the move and very flexible and therefor always open to get in touch with our audience enchanting it with a wide range of music styles: from brass sounds, chanson and covered pop hits to jazz.
As our audience is still growing we would like to go professional, beginning with a profound logo.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our target audience are cultural organisations organizing festivals, advertising agencies looking for a spontaneous, eye- and ear - catching band erecting attention and business companies who would like to give their events an unforgettable touch. We are that flexible and independent that there is hardly any event, we are completely wrong !! :-)
As our audience has a really wide range, our CI should support our ideas of making good music, entertaining people and performing unplugged. Our logo will reach young people we meet on the street during a street festival; our logo will reach medium aged people in business, elder people as well as company bosses flirting with the idea of engaging us for their next events . . . !
So, the logo should represent a bunch of good musicians creating new songs and ideas just in the moment of their performance with a really crazy touch for being kept in mind of our audience.
As my job is it to set up the CI, flyers, website etc. I would prefer sans-serif - fonts (can I say that this way ?!); The typeface should be clear and bold. Crazy items or icons are basically welcome. But not too fancy.
Please: no "cliparts" or stock fotos!
We came to the conclusion to emphasize the word "walking". Maybe we try out some things with our shoes; maybe colorfully painted shoes, maybe all of us with the same kind of sneakers . . . something like that.
Feel free to experiment with colours! Keep in mind: we are ten girls and guys between twenty-three and fifty (!) - yes! But all in all we act in concert and party is where we perform!
