OuterWhitespace got their new logo design by running a design contest:
logo needed for The Great Exchange, a disability advocacy nonprofit

Community & Non-Profit
The Great Exchange promotes self-advocacy among intellectually disabled adults by setting up pathways for them to network with nonprofits around Austin. In exchange for performing team-based volunteer work at each nonprofit, the host nonprofit will provide a list of ways they plan to foster inclusion in their workplace.
Logo types to explore
We like bridge imagery (particularly the Congress Bridge in Austin). I was playing around with the idea of using a bridge as the upper part of a heart shape, but I couldn't successfully execute the idea. You're welcome to give this idea a shot or to just go with your own ideas! It would be great if the "change" in "Exchange" could be a different color. We're trying to communicate that we're a fun and friendly, but very professional, organization. Ideally the logo would communicate a sense of fun without alienating donors and investors.
