B Square Media (also as B Squared Media)
Based in Australia, B Square Media is a consultancy that offers companies marketing and business services around traditional and new marketing methods such as social media.
We are young and dynamic and present our information in clean, simple to understand language. We believe that everyone has the right to learn and understand technology and marketing principles without feeling intimidated or like they have to spend a lot of money to educate themselves.
Our Primary auduence are SME (small to medium sized enterprises) and are operating in traditional spaces - service provides like accountants, lawyers etc. Our secondary audiences are people who are entrepreneurial and traditionaly spend more time working in their business than on their business.
There is not a specifc gender skew and assume 35+
We require a logo that will best represent our brand - we want it to be simple and clean but not look like it was created in Powerpoint.
It can be represented as B Square Media and B Squared Media (we are currently working on this securing this variant of business name) or B2 media (with the 2 in superscript), and ideally we would like to see both variants. We would be interested to see options for both.
It needs to be 'fluid' - it will be used on our site, for ppt presentations and in print.
We are open to suggestions about colour - we want our logo to 'pop', without blowing someone's head off. We would like to avoid the standard corporate dark blue and would prefer dark purples or dark greens.
We would like the logo to have an element of iconography which can be used in conjunction with the logo but also in isolation to represent the brand (like the apple for mac's)
If possible, we would also like an icon (different to the logo) that we can use as our 'helpful hint' alert - might be a geeky gadget or a siren or something (have a look at the "Dummies Guide" to anything books for how they indicate a helpful hint). We dont want to copy theirs but it gives you the gist of how it would look.
Also if possible, we would like a 'ribbon' . It is a design element which we can use in ppt or in other documents that is really either the bottom or the top of a page (similar to a border or a frame).
This is a clean slate - we have no brand basis to work from so the world is your oyster.
