We're a research collaborative developing evidence-based solutions for animal welfare assessment, focusing on patterns in behavior. We work with behavior observations, monitoring technology and data analytics aimed at figuring out what physical and psychological conditions an animal might be in, then use that information to understand their context better and propose interventions for improvement (e.g. zoo animal environmental enrichment)

think science, tech and big data; though we focus on animal well-being, we base our work on concepts from math and physics (e.g. fractals and entropy - see reference images of the Lorenz Attractor (butterfly-esque) and Mandelbrot set (beetle-esque)); we're based at universities and zoos, and are targeting researchers and zoo professionals, as well as the public; currently not for profit, but if the concept works, there is potential for entrepreneurship; I would hope the logo to somehow include stylistic elements of animals (or an animal) and mathematical graphics like those in the reference image set, yet in some minimalist way (no need for high fidelity to any of these images, ie abstractions are fine); preference for muted colors, minimalist styling, geometric shapes.
