Fetcheo.com
How often do you sit online and try to figure out where to go and what to do, but you just end up getting stuck looking at the same four websites? Wouldn't it be great to have a website that gave you some suggestions based on your interests?
Fetcheo.com will "fetch" information from around the web for people who may not know exactly what they are trying to find. Hopefully, this will help not only the user, but also the sites we suggest.
As far as the underlying company and developers, we like to think of ourselves as innovative and edgy with a side of traditional.
Our primary audience is anyone who is tired of being bored online. Doesn't help much, does it? This can range anywhere from the stay at home mom to the bored college student.
Design: Go wild and be creative, but we do like the whole web 2.0 feel.
Suggestions: We're open to whatever you have to offer. You're the graphic designer - not us. That said, we wouldn't mind seeing some options incorporating a dog or some sort of design in addition to the wording (but not super cartoon-y). You know, FETCHeo. Again, this is definitely not mandatory and you're the designer. If you have a better idea, we'd much rather see that.
Color scheme: Again, open, but we need for it to look good on a variety of backgrounds so hopefully the logo will have colors that will work with a number of other colors. We are not thinking a random bright green here. We will be working with more subtle colors - think a light green, light blue, black, light grey as backgrounds.
Format: ideally a vector format so we can resize and play around with it. Since we plan on using it on a variety of backgrounds, we need the final product to have a transparent background.
Solid color option: Once you have your idea and the draft version of the logo, we would also like to see the logo as a solid color (think a plain white logo on black and vice versa) that can be used in later print work and in other locations on the site.
Favicon: extra points to those designs that translate well into a favicon.
We will be extremely involved in this process and will give feedback as soon as possible.
