Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The business will offer motoring enthusiasts a venue in which they can come together to work on their vehicles and share ideas and knowledge within a community based workshop. Also offered will be an event space for professional automotive groups and clubs to hire for promotional events, demonstrations, monthly meetings and talks. A collaborative workspace is also a future consideration for individuals to conduct their businesses in an environment where they share common interests; community is the businesses main focus. As such the logo design must not only focus on vehicles. Modern, sophisticated and unisex appeal are very important. We are not appealing to youths who have just obtained their licenses, but rather collectors and enthusiasts. i.e 30+ age group.

Strong and memorable. simple colour use. Easy to reproduce in physical form as signage, embroidery etc.
Clean and fresh, friendly and welcoming.
Use of negative space, clean lines and "hidden" second image
clean, modern and logo is identifiable when isolated from the name
Fun, warm, simple graphic
The company name "garage and co" does not, and perhaps should not be in the logo. I had a previous design created that incorporated a spanner and the letter "G" via negative space. The design worked well but needed a bit more refinement. I have attached this logo for reference. Like the previous logo I do not want any car parts in the logo eg. wheels, pistons, spark plugs etc. This brand is to be subtle, for security reasons and sophisticated to appeal to the right audience. To explain further, if customers are paying to have their expensive vehicles stored away from their home, the signage on the building should not demonstrate what is inside.
