We work with pregnant mothers, children, teens, and their families. We provide therapeutic interventions in the home and in schools, provide developmental screening to children ages 0-5, provide support and parenting education, case management and referral &linkage, facilitate parenting groups in the community, and child abuse prevention. We offer a holistic approach to promote healthy parent-child relationships through support services and education. The following are the programs we provide:
Baby Coach: Baby Coach seeks to match pregnant moms of all ages and ethnicities with a caring, supportive person to assure their babies are healthy and nurtured, have support and education, and are linked to valuable resources.
Child Assault Prevention Program (CAPP):Child Assault Prevention workshops are offered to preschool and elementary school classrooms throughout Solano County. These sessions help empower kids to be “Safe, Strong, and Free.”
Dixon School Based Services: Dixon Unified School District is contracting with CNP to provide preventive mental health to student’s kindergarten through high school. Group work is a key component of this program.
Early Childhood Mental Health Services: Early intervention provides the best opportunity for a child’s health and well-being. Our in-home mental health and behavioral services provide comprehensive assessment and treatment for children from birth to age five.
Healthy Families America (HFA): HFA is a home visiting program designed to work with overburdened families who are at-risk for adverse childhood experiences, including maltreatment. The goals are to 1) promote healthy pregnancies and birth outcomes and 2) promote healthy growth and development of babies 0-2.
Parenting Groups and Support: CNP provides a variety of groups for parents and children. We utilize the research-based Nurturing Parenting Program (NPP) curriculum for parent education and support groups for families with children, ages zero to five.
Partnership for Early Access for Kids (PEAK): PEAK is a coordinated group of agencies working with children birth to age five throughout Solano County, providing a developmental “check-up,” comprehensive screening and assessment, parent coaching, and provider/parent outreach.
Special Education Local Planning Area (SELPA): CNP is contracted with 5 school districts in Solano County (Benicia, Fairfield/Suisun, Vacaville, Travis, and Dixon) through Solano SELPA to provide educational mental health services.
