Lincoln Village Animal Hospital
New logo for a 12 year old, highly accredited animal hospital in Waterloo Ontario, Canada, home to R.I.M. in the centre of Canada's tech triangle.
We provide a very high level of care, and clients come to us because they trust our Vet and appreciate her passion and knowledge.
We love pets, of course, but we also love the environment, and definitely would like to incorporate a Green feel into the logo.
Our reception area has a contemporary soothing professional spa-like feel to it…rock wall, earthen tones, stainless steel and glass, composite granite counter, 8m wilderness mural. I've attached a few pictures of our hospital reception and exterior.
Target market is clients looking for the best medical care for their pet.
Diverse clientele, ranging from single, young urbanites to suburban couples 30-55, with or without children, often, but not always, above average income and education.
We would like a dog and cat sillouette on the logo. No breeds with cropped ears, cause its cruel. Veterinarians’ favourite dog breed is a Siberian Husky, it would be great to use, as long as it doesn’t look like a big bad wolf. Other breeds or generic dogs would be fine, but the images should not be goofy cartoons as we’re more sophisticated than that.
We'd like to represent our green, planet friendly environment...and I don't mean a dog and, you know, a tree! More like a connection between caring for our pets and caring for our planet.
Our old logo was clip art express, see attachment, so we'd really like to avoid that this time.
2-4 Colours… Green, grays, earthtones or whatever. Just no neon or shock colours thanks.
Logo should not be too finely detailed, as we’d like it to be identifiable up close or far away, in full colour or in black & white.
I’d like clients to know our name so we would prefer that “Lincoln Village” is featured larger than “Animal Hospital”.
Thank you so much for your interest and effort. I'm so excited to see what you have in mind.
