We are looking for assistance in developing a corporate identity for a new web telephony company focused on creating innovative voice/speech powered applications including: Twelephone Twitter VoIP client, Surf-By-Tel voice browser, and an Internet phone system. Note: We do not want to mention these product by name in the logo or the business cards.
We believe that your voice is the best user interface. Applications should understand human speech and interact with you as a conversation with speech-based responses and artificial intelligence. In addition to our current Web and IVR applications we are interested in developing mobile iPhone, Pre, and Android applications as well.
• Innovative solutions - anything is possible!
• Partnering with clients
• Positive attitude and ethical behavior
We are a small company based in Phoenix, Arizona USA and target our Web telephony applications to progressive enterprise companies, telcos, developers, and communities (including Twitter & Facebook).
Our Surf-By-Tel Web voice browser allows blind people to surf the web with their telephones and voice and web pages are read back to them prompting them with new link selection options. We like doing good things for special communities.
We want to develop a modern logo, which will be the basis of our corporate identity, and a business card.
1. Design logo:
The existing (and almost unknown) logo located at http://getvocal.com is the brand name written in gil sans. We have typically tried to emphasize the V and have experimented with megaphone logo and rolling stones-like mouth ideas as well as the lowercase g followed by the less than symbol as follows: g<
Feel free to change it! We are also not set on a final color. We would; however, like to have the back of the business card be a full color background and logo.
As competition is growing, we consider the new design as a wonderful opportunity to develop a specific, impactful image: something unique and instantly identifiable. That is why we are looking for a modern, clean, bright and professional, yet striking logo that combines the GetVocal name with the logo. The name might be the logo; however, a logo to the left of the name could be cool as well.
Logo will be used in a variety of ways including letterhead, all business stationary, web presence, promotional materials and products. We may need additional help in a second stage.
2. Business cards - It would be cool to also find a business card printer that could stamp our cards in braille for blind people
3. All the artwork for the logo must be delivered in all formats: eps, pdf, jpgs, png, etc.
