My organization develops brands and products taking from the heart and essence of the holy city of Madina. These include multiple categories, such as prayer needs, fashion, souvenirs, amongst others. The target audience for the brand we are creating are lovers of Madina, here and around the World, people who have visited Madina and reminisce, ones that are visiting Madina, and others who dream about City and of visiting it, from all around the World. • Nationalities: All • We target men and women, ages 20 - 45 with a narrow definition of target market for communication at (25 - 38)

Wish you all the luck, Ahmad Sakina Brand Logo Brief What Sakina is about: Sakeena is a brand about Madina - the historic and second holiest city in Islam captures the heart of millions upon millions. Madina has the special place in Muslim hearts around the World because it was final home and resting place of Prophet Muhammad, is filled with culture, architecture, and specialized offerings A self-generated perception of the City is about peace, and bliss of being in Madina . Sakeena captures that sense of inner peace and harmony that comes from the spiritual significance of the City. The word Sakeena (Arabic) means something between “serenity and tranquility” – which is how visitors feel due to the spiritual significance as well as being amidst a beautiful landscape of mountains, palm tree farms (for dates), domes and minerats of ancients mosques (including the Prophet Muhammad Mosque and his resting place – the second largest in the World). It is helpful to contrast the perceptions against that of Makkah, an even holier City that Madina. Makkah is perceived as holy, but people who have experienced Madina overwhelmingly prefer its overall experience to Makkah because of the reasons above. “Sakeena” tries to capture that sense and experience, and reflect it in a brand that engages customers with the elements of inner-peace present in the city. • The mosques o Masjid Nabawi as the anchor o Qubaa, Qiblatain, others • Landscape o The layered view of architectural and natural elements: Lines of date farms Mountains White mosque domes and pillars Orchard fences • Madini plants: Palm tree (dates), Madini flower, basil plant, Mint leaves Objective: - To create a logo that: o Immediately registers as a representation of Madina through the elements mentioned and references in attachments (the mindpicture of Madina) Imagine a picture with: 1- Lines of palm trees, layered by a palm leaf fence, in the horizon lines of mountains at several distances, the famous white domes of mosques like Qubaa, or a view of one of the landmarks of the Prophet’s mosque, such as the green dome, or its minerates This representation has to clearly portray the idea of “Sakeena” – that of harmony, tranquility, serenity, clarity, and balance You may try to incorporate all the elements, but it is not required, as long as the objective is met It is not required that the representation of elements in the logo look realistic and wholesome, the idea is they look minimalist yet recognizable and arranged to give off the feeling of “sakeena’
