dare.street got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Logo for Australian registered marriage celebrant

For ceremonies that reflect your style, character and values
I am a authorised/registered civil marriage celebrant that also does commitment ceremonies, vow renewals, namings and all ceremonies that mark life transitions. I am not currently doing funerals but may at some time in the future so the logo needs to be versatile enough to cover all types of ceremonies.
Logo types to explore
My style is about capturing in words the essence of the couple, person or people. I have a friendly approachable manner with a down to earth attitude while maintaining professional integrity at all times. I want the logo to be something that will look great on an earthy yet sophisticated fine linen style paper. I love the nautilus shell - for me it represents the unending perfection of love, and the perfection of nature showing how earthiness and sophistication and professionalism & integrity come together. It also has a luminescence (similar to pearls) which are great wedding colours but also universal for other celebrations. I found this design which is for a totally different type of business, but I love it! http://limeshot.com/2010/sarea-logo-design-and-identity For this style of logo the colours I imagine are cream, pearl, ice blue with a darker teal type font, but am open to all ideas. I also had a thought about the idea of using a wax seal type image. Maybe even a logo that I could have a seal stamp made for so I can use a wax seal or the digital image? Also open to to other ideas. Attached is my current business card which gives ideas of the colours I like.
