Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our organization is a non-profit counseling center. We offer a variety of mental health counseling services. We specialize in domestic violence, specifically building awareness of and educating the public around issues of more subtle aspects of domestic violence including emotional and verbal abuse.
Our target audience is adult men and women within the Portland, Oregon area, however, we have educational materials and newsletters that we make available all over the world. Our goal is to be a leader nationally in training other providers on how to work with people affected by domestic violence, and to provide education and awareness to the general public around these issues.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

Logo types to explore

ADD: Our executive director is wanting the image now to be the
silhouettes of two people standing side-by-side above lettering "Allies
in Change" - the idea of two figures standing together as allies. It can
be overt or slightly covert that they are two people standing, whether
the figures are slightly hidden in an image or overtly two figures
The preference would be to not be too cartoon-y.
Our current logo is pretty basic and has been attached. We need a big upgrade. We are thinking we will want to drop the "Counseling Center" from the logo, so it is just "Allies in Change." We would also like some sort of simple symbol, shape, or something to go along with our logo, but I am unsure exactly what it should look like.
We plan on printing the logo out in black and white quite a bit with our letterhead, so it is important that it looks good in both color and black and white.
