The Learning Groove needed a new logo design and created a contest on 99designs.
A winner was selected from 55 designs submitted by 13 freelance designers.
The Learning Groove needs a logo! We create music and class curriculums for early education (ages 0-6). Our goal is to be hip for parents while still being fun & loving for kids. We like folk art and simplicity. Visit http://www.thelearninggroove.com to get a feel for our style.
The Learning Groove (TM)
Desired Style:
child-friendly, hip, cool, folksy
Accepted File Formats:
Standard Web Formats (.jpg, .gif or .png); Vector Formats (.eps, .pdf or .ai); Layered Formats (.psd or .tiff)
We have one idea in mind, though we are open and interested in other ideas. The idea we have now is basically having "The Learning" above a musical staff that has the word "Groove" on it -- the two letter o's in the word Groove could be whole notes on the staff (whole notes are elipses without a stem protruding from the ellipse).
Since we don't have the word "music" in our company name, we need the logo to make it clear we make children's music.
We lean towards folky colors as opposed to cliche overly bright rainbow colors for kids products. (Though we still want to be fun!) Best is to check out our site (under construction) to see the artwork we are currently using:

Once again, our goal is to be hip & cool for parents while still being fun & loving for kids.
Thanks, and be well!
