Community & Non-Profit
IBD Support Australia operates a highly successful, much needed and volunteer-run online support community for those living with Inflammatory Bowel Disease, including Crohn’s and Colitis.
Logo types to explore
This is your chance to create a new visual identity for one of the leading patient health forums in Australia. We will be actively involved in giving feedback during the contest. We have been helping patients with IBD for 10 years but have decided it is time to redevelop our website. We need a logo, first, to reflect the key objective of our organisation. This is to provide online support to people living with IBD and help them to live better lives with their illness. You can find the current site at www.ibdaustralia.org There are a few key Attributes to consider when developing the logo and brand identity - Modern - Confident and clean but not overly serious in that it needs to be friendly, engaging and supportive - Reflective of an effective volunteer organisation - Reflective of an organisation that works in the online/digital space - Incorporates themes of communication, interaction, support, linkages and community The primary use of the logo will be in a full colour format for our website. The logo will also be used on marketing material such as posters, business cards, pamphlets/brochures and incorporated in the marketing and communication material of other organisations. It must be scalable and clear. Our target audience ranges in age from teenager to senior. Though our forum tends to attract younger users. The term, ‘IBD’ is highly effective, in itself, at drawing the attention of people with IBD. There is a limited amount of information for this community, so those with the diseases are drawn to any marketing or education material that uses this term. Thus, please ensure the name, IBD Support, is clearly visible in the logo. The word, Australia, is a less important element of the logo. The logos must also be visible in black and white and full colour. Please show us he logo proofs on a variety of mediums, so we can see how it looks with various uses such as the internet or a business card. Also if you can show us what it looks like in full colour and black and white. Thanks for taking part in the contest. Looking forward to working with you and seeing your designs!
