How Brook Kreder started their logo design journey
Women Wine & Wisdom
This project has been a dream of mine for years. I have longed to create a space where women can come together, learn from each other, share with each other and in general live a more authentic and delicious life. I'm not looking to faciliate superficial connections - this is a place you go when you want your SOUL filled. The content on the web site really goes deep - what to say when you find out your friend has cancer, or perhaps what happens when you lose your good looks (maturing). This is place where women in their 40s, 50s and 60s can share insights and wisdom with women in their 20s and 30s. There are millions of women having zillions of experiences that might help others navigate life a bit more easily. Our web site is a place to sound off or plug in on topics such as health & wellness, kids, career, wine reviews, colorful life lessons, weight loss adventures, etc. I would like this identity to be so fabulous that women are dying to join our tribe - very approachable, sexy, authentic, real, raw, welcoming - something that really screams community, safe place, authentic living.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Women 25-65. I don't think we'll attract women who are just surviving - we'll likely attract women who are more conscious - aware there is more to life than what currently is...someone searching for greater meaning and willing to reflect or learn from others to find it. My thoughts are they will be a bit spiritual - looking for meaningful connections and would like to be a part of something that fills them up without being another obligation or "have to".
I'm very open to any design - however I would like it to adequately reflect what we're trying to accomplish. Out of Women, Wine & Wisdom, women is the top priority, then wisdom, then the wine. I'd like to have the final logo in several formats - jpeg, Tif, Gif, PDF, files for the web, ai, etc. I'd also like to have large files for banners, etc. and small for other collateral pieces. You are free to be brilliant - I look forward to reviewing your design! You can see more online at http://www.WomenWineandWisdom.net. Thank you for your consideration.
