Jhatkaa needs a new logo

"पुरानी सोच को झटका दो" - which means "Shake up old ways of thinking" or "Shake up status quo", the tag line will be in all languages, so ideally there should be a space/font/style given where the tagline goes, but it can be inserted in any language depending on what language they're seeing the website in
Jhatkaa is all about “shaking up” the status quo in India. We’re building a movement of Indians who join their strength as consumers, voters and citizens to put the public interest ahead of narrow corporate, sectarian and partisan agendas. Jhatkaa is an Indian people-powered, independent, multi-issue, rapid-response advocacy organisation that uses the latest digital tools to catalyze action online and offline. We will work across a variety of progressive issues as guided by our members, such as women’s’ rights, corruption, public health and land rights. We will campaign where members’ passion meets a timely opportunity where collective action can create real change. Such opportunities range from a close parliamentary vote, to the release of a major new study, to a breaking news event or cultural moment. We will provide Indians with clear information on decisions being made and clear opportunities to unify their power and impact the outcome as the news breaks. We will organise them through the internet, mobile phones and use the media to escalate their voices. Tactics will vary widely from petitions, to calling legislators or corporate executives, to fundraising drives to air timely ads, to participating in local events such as civic trainings, rallies, voter enrolment drives, and much more. We will also encourage personal change opportunities such as reflection on communal biases in our daily lives, gender equity in our families, or our treatment of our public spaces. Jhatkaa is inspired by a powerful organizational model that has successfully engaged tens of millions of supporters in the USA (MoveOn.org), Australia (GetUp.org.au), the UK (38Degrees.org.uk) and globally (Avaaz.org). We aim to evolve this approach for the unique Indian context, to tap the vast potential of new technologies and new ways of organizing to empower citizens of the world’s largest democracy. PS. Jhatkaa means "shake up" or "jolt"
Logo types to explore
When people see the brand on a business card, poster or a website, I want it to evoke feelings of "this is a place of action", this will "shake things up", "this is professional, i trust them". I also want a "this feels Indian, not foreign" communicated in a very subtle way, where the viewer doesn't miss it, but the logo isn't trying to prove that it's Indian, because it naturally speaks for itself.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at €269.
