Excellent designer -- fast turnaround, follows the ideas and guidance, great skills. Recommended!
This is a great platform and all the designers did good job. I loved to work with my designer. I was given lot of options and I loved them in general from the start. It was easy to pick the designer very soon . It was also easy to pick one concept from different options. But it was hard for me to pick from the different variations of the one concept. So my designer helped me to choose the variation. I am really very happy to work with the designer and thankful for being so patient and cooperative with me.
In future, I would love to work again on this platform and highly recommend other people.
How themissingheadmusic started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
The Missing Head
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The logo will serve as branding for my music project. I am an independent musician (guitarist + fender rhodes + bass, etc.), arranger and music producer based in San Francisco, CA. I am looking to build my online presence via the usual socials, using The Missing Head's name. Therefore my product will be my own original compositions (Black Keys meets Miles Davis meets Pink Floyd), but can also include more social projects such as music gear demos/reviews, along w/ supporting video content (either self-shot or from royalty-free sources).
My music (mostly instrumental) incorporates elements of traditional Blues, modal jazz from the 60's, funk from the 70's, Indie rock, etc.
I also have a passion for vintage recording gear and instruments, which will likely also shine through the content.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Art & Design
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
Very open to colors, with a personal slight preference for blues and oranges, as well as elegant sobre designs. So really, all is about your artistic creativity
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I like the aged wood background and the simple and easy-to-read name, though it may be pushing the 'hipster' envelope and cliches a tiny bit too much
Easily readable, even if when the icon's size is decreased, combines concept (mysterious face/look, contrast of black vs color, etc.)
I is also a playful design
- I play, produce, record music and like old vintage and patterned instruments & designs
- I am open with your interpretation of the 'missing head' as part of the design of the logo
