Website Target Audience: Multi-generational - people 35-60 years old; women and men; the lay-person and professional healthcare provider, product and service community.
Trademark: We are an advertising, social media, and educational website.
Look and Feel: We want a logo that conveys a BRAND that, over time, users will instantly recognize. Users should come to trust the content and products found on the website and emotionally associate the brand with that trust. The business community should feel proud to be associated with Wide Coast Care, want to display our logo and link on their site so that their customers know that [business] is a partner of the Wide Coast Care community. While a Brand logo is expected, a design that incorporates the header space of the site would be an unexpected and welcomed surprise.
Design Aesthetic: The look should reflect sharp, sleek design principles - rounded edges are fine. The logo should be instantly easy to decipher and the font should be easy to read. Options for either all upper or lower case and a combination of upper and lower case, should be explored. I am not a fan of script fonts and will be resistant but open to being convinced. I look forward to a new, creative image and I'm open to a pictorial mark that is common knowledge.
My Personal Tastes that Inform my Perspective: In interior design, my tastes run Italian & Neo-Californian; I like uncluttered comfort that is durable. In exterior design, I like the "always looks new" regardless of how old it is. In vehicles, Aston Martin, Jaguar (E-type of the 60's & 70's), and Lexus.
Hopefully, this tells you about the features that I find visually seductive.
