My business partner and I have been managing and developing major label talent with a collective 28 years between us. Mostly operating in the R&B/Soul and pop realm, we've worked for Jive Records, J Records, Sobe/Warner Brothers, and currently MBK Entertainment, the management company of Alicia Keys, Jermaine Paul, LeToya Luckett, and Elle Varner. As the A&R department of MBK, we open every demo we receive and we really listen. Even though MBK "officially" does not accept unsolicited material, we strive to be at the forefront of discovering new artists, and that means real homework. Over the years we've realized that there doesn't seem to be any type of early career, online virtual coaching and information products that are remotely effective in this area. After, at first touring and recording as artists ourselves, then managing and developing musical artists, we're determined to build an online community that nurtures musicality, promotes creative positive growth, develops real progressive action and grows a real talent pool of artists we can select from to keep our other businesses flourishing, and the hearts, souls and ears of world content... but first, we need a really good logo.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Young developing singers, musical groups, song-writers, producers, and musicians of all types. Although the early focus will be on soul music and pop, we want a strong brand design that can easily be expanded upon to rock, singer-songwriter, alternative, etc etc...
Just like we love to be surprised by original creative music, original creative design makes us really happy too.
Lets start with the basic:
