We are working on a new site to help track the accomplishments of Open Source developers and help companies pay them back.
Our philosophy is about being open, innovative and not too serious. We come from the open source software world ourselves and want it to make that world even more fun than it already is.
Open Source software developers as well as web startups.
Our current thinking is a cartoonish buddha character with a halo of binary numbers. We are open to any suggestions that symbolize karma and code in a fun way.

Note these should not be copied, but can be used for inspiration.
The logo will be used on our web site and also embedded in widgets on other peoples sites.
In the future we may want to use the logo embossed on an image of a coin so we need a strong silhouette or bold black and white version of the logo.
Feel free to use use multiple colors and a hip cartoony style. If you think it works you can get intricate as well.
The logo will mainly be used in a 100px vertical height header with a white background.
