First Fruits Farm and Orchard, LLC needs a new logo

We are a rural pick your own fruit and berry farm that also offers produce for sale through our retail building, with our orchard located on 8 acres of beautiful farmland. We are open from late spring through late fall and offer a variety of fruit and produce including apples, pears, peaches, pumpkins, plums, raspberries, strawberries, asparagus and melons.

We would like a fruit tree somewhere in the logo, possibly with a silhouette of a person reaching up to pick a piece of fruit off of the tree. We plan on creating a 3-D road sign based on our logo with the tree and person picking the fruit as a focal point. Our customer base ranges from young families to seniors. We live in a conservative area with a large Mennonite and Amish population where rural country living is of high importance to many. We want to instill a warm feeling of "down-home country living" in our customers through our logo. We need our logo to be creative and artistic without being too modern or "techy". We will be using it on a reusable shopping bag for our customers to bring back for a discount on their next purchase. We hope this bag will double as a form of advertisement, so we need the logo to be eye-catching. We do NOT want the number "1" incorporated anywhere in the logo to accentuate the word "First" in our name. We don't currently have a website up and running so I can't attach a link to that, however I hope I have provided you with enough information about our vision and goals to help you create a great logo! Also, we didn't want to include any concept designs so that we don't box anyone in to what we are thinking. I really am sort of unsure about "the picture in my head" and would love to see something new and fresh, instead of just an adaptation of what I'm thinking. Be creative!
