*** UPDATE *** Just updating the brief to give a more specific idea of what we are looking for. We would like Hand Drawn / illustrated text that says "Footprints in the Forest" that somehow incorporates Woodland animals, native to the United Kingdoms woodland, these can include but are not limited too - - Owls - Foxes - Rabbits - Birds of Prey - Bats - A wide array of Insects - Birds in General We no longer want children actually in the design, but instead their bare feet footprints, possibly muddy, or an impression in mud, whichever works best with the design. This could also include Branches, Trees, leaves or anything else found in the woodland / forests. I'm sure there are some really clever ways all of the above can be integrated with or around the text. With regards to the Color Palette, we want warm Earthy colors, including Browns, Oranges and Greens from the woodland and all the Colors that come from the forest, along with the woodland animals colors. It would be amazing to see some designs using these updated Brief details. --------------- END OF UPDATE ----------------------- The logo will be for a Woodland / Forest Pre-School based on the border between Wales and England, in the United Kingdom. We really want a beautiful logo, something that represents what business is about. Essentially what we do is learning through nature, a fresh take on education, from outdoor mud kitchens, to learning, fun and admiration of the beautiful forest, from the complex woodland floor, to the towering trees, and all of the birds and animals that make up the forest. If "Footprints in the Forest" could be included within the logo, along with Tiny footprints, but we are completely open to ideas, so please use your creative skills and imagination. We are looking for a logo that represents warmth, fun, nature, learning and beauty. One that will look good on every format, from a website, to raincoats and wellies. We have no preference with regards to colors, whichever colors work well with the logo. We do prefer illustrated / hand drawn either physically or digitally drawn logos, as it has a more natural and original feel. Please feel free to incorporate as many aspects, such as Wildlife, Trees, Leaves, Mud, Branches or what comes to mind when you think about forestry woodland, and having fun. The logo could include Wildlife. Typical wildlife in the area includes - - Owls & other Birds of Prey - Foxes - Squirrels - Field Mice - Huge array of insects - Bats Along with many other native UK Woodland wildlife. If I was going to describe the Logo / Woodland / Forest School, it would be an Adventure, having endless fun, learning through natural curiosity with wildlife and nature in the great outdoors.
