local.gp is a website (to be launched by OpenClinic Pty Ltd) that allows prospective patients to find a GP (General Practitioner, a.k.a. Primary Care Doctor) in their area, whether it be by geolocation or entering an address, clinic name or GP name. The site will provide all sorts of information about GPs and clinics. It is expected in the future that this site will contain features to allow GPs and clinics to provide various information-based services online.
Anyone who wants to see a GP, whether it be their regular GP or a new GP. It will be especially handy for people who are new to an area. Currently, we're only targeting the Australian market. Users would typically be in the 20-50 age bracket.
The following elements may be used, but may not necessarily influence my decision:
- Medical symbols
- Web 2.0 style
- Site mascot
Preference may be given to logos that:
- capture the feeling of being local; and/or
- don't have too many graphics that distract from the wording in the logo.
The dot must appear in the logo.
Letters may use any combination of lower/upper case.
I'm flexible regarding the design, so go ahead and be creative. I'll endeavour to provide feedback as much as possible.
Required file format:
.design (Expression Design 3 or 4) is strongly preferred, but if you can supply the logo in another vector format, that is OK as long as you can also work with me to provide PNG exports in various sizes.
Please don't use stock images, clip art or trademarks. All designs must be strictly original.
