Kat85113 got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Farmstead Goat Cheese Dairy needs its very first logo
Check out Kat85113's Logo design contest…
We are a farmstead goat dairy in N.C. with an Animal Welfare Approved herd of very happy all-pastured goats. We make cheeses, especially french-styles, and cheesecakes from our chevre, and artisanal bread using our whey. Oh, and goat meat; hoping to develop a signature goat sausage, in the vein of a merguez. We need logo and then packaging design, to go to the next level.
Logo types to explore
We've already got a tag line to work with -- "where goats can be goats." Something that conveys the Prodigal name . . . coming home. Hoofprints behind a goat heading toward . . . We like line-drawing, or engraving look for images, rusticized or eroded text, a font that, like the image, feels retro or vintage or (yet more) historical. Image will need to be able to work on small cheese labels; name will need to be able to stand independently of an image, too. EVERYONE (in the goat cheese world) seems to have a goat nibbling a tree or some such, so we can pass on that, even though it's true at our place and not at most. Have a look at our website; the farm is full of historic buildings; we value nature, conservation, health, community. We also produce a very high-quality artisan product. We sell mostly locally now, in a very foodie area, and expect to be selling at places like Whole Foods. We anticipate doing t-shirts too, and eventually labels that are specific to each kind of cheese we make. Also, for our breads (which we sell in Kraft paper bags) and cheesecakes (which we sell in Kraft bakery boxes), we'd like the logo to be adaptable to a stamp. After the logo design is complete, we'll be looking for label/packaging design.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at €269.
