About us
ÉIREWAVE is a radio in Ireland. The station proposes to play only contemporary and Irish POP & POP-ROCK music (e.g. The Script, Walking On Cars, Kodaline, Snow Patrol, The Coronas, Hermitage Green, U2, Gavin James) and promote new Irish acts such as Picture This, Sample Answer and Apella amongst others. Our target is 25-34 years old listeners. Eirwave would target men and women equally. Our main competitors are Today FM, iRadio, 98FM and Corks96FM in Ireland. 'ÉIRE' means 'Ireland' in Irish, 'ÉIREWAVE' is a word game similar to 'AIRWAVE'
