SAFAL PARTNERS (see starter website at http://www.safalpartners.com)
I run a consulting company in Houston, TX that focuses on the non profit sector, and serves foundations, non-profits, and school districts. Safal means success in Sanskrit, and I would like to convey the image that we are focused on client success. The word 'Partners' is chosen to indicate that we work in close partnership with our clients, and are not a typical consulting firm. We focus primarily on U.S. education and global health. Our value proposition is that we provide the same quality and level of strategic thinking as a top management consulting firm but can provide much more affordable and effective longer-term support given our small size and local presence. I have an MBA from Wharton and significant experience with McKinsey (world's leading mangement consulting firm), and also have over 5 years experience in education and global health with a major national foundation (Michael & Susan Dell Foundation). I am currently working with 4 clients and am ready to expand. I need your help to put together a good logo that I can use to design my business cards and launch the next version of my website.
You can view more details at the starter website that I created at http://www.safalpartners.com
Audience includes senior management team at non-profits, senior management at foundations, experts in the field of education, senior central office staff in school districts, senior leadership at community based service organizations, other consulting companies and the public.
In most cases, the audience would be between 30-60 years old, highly educated and professional, and also typically conservative.
In the non-profit sector (specially education), there is a lot of philanthropic funding that often does not lead to a real change. In education, my firm is focused primarily on providing design and implementation support to do meaningful school reform that makes a measurable difference in the lives of children. I also work with foundations to understand and evaluate the impact of their grants and help them with investment decisions.
I am looking for a logo design that is elegant and professional. The winner also needs to provide a business card design using the logo as part of the file. Please also incorporate a tag line - Insights.Actions.Results.
I have a strong resume and a strong initial client base. However, I have only recently launched this firm, and so I need a logo that communicates the image of an established firm. Feel free to use colors, but ones that communicate a business image. The logo needs to be more than just the words Safal Partners spelled out.
Firms similar to the work I am doing
http://www.fsg-impact.org - Boring logo
http://www.doublelinepartners.com - I don't like this logo, mainly the 2 lines
http://www.mcvconsulting.com - I think this logo is nice
Look forward to your ideas!!
