Super! Brent communicated immediately and kept us in the loop on his design process. We told him what we wanted. He provided 2 first concepts and both were exactly what we were hoping for in terms of making a brand with a statement. We chose one of the concepts with one very small edit. I can't believe we got what we wanted in just one try. Just spend the money and hire him! You won't regret it.
How Stephroseg started their logo design journey

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our target audience is mainly Print estimators, and Printing company owners and staff- however , the logo is also going to be used for an exciting new online version of the software , and will be exposed to the clients of the printing companies ( marketing and advertising firms , large corporates that outsource their printing) as well as design reps , and design houses . Our sales agents and support staff will also be using the online tools and functionality.
We need a sleek , hi-tech , modern and simple logo. We want to include a stylized dolphin image - no cartoons , and no cute pictures. The logo is going to go into all our online stationary ( invoices , statements etc) as well as all web pages , our twitter feed , and our facebook page. I have included some reference examples for the stark / plain / stylized feel we are aiming for in terms of the picture - don't take it as gospel though - we'll be just as open to a silhouette or a profile or a modern style outline.
Our name : dolphin worxs must be included as the main feature of the logo , and we prefer the word dolphin to be a different colour to 'worxs' , but this is not critical - The logo must have blue in it somewhere- we are not too fussy about the specific shade / hue - as long as it's easy to read against both a white and black background. The name must all be lowercase.
I have a personal leaning towards something shiny and metallic looking - but it's also not critical if the design does not support it.
I have also included our current logo.
