Lever Learning
IMPORTANT NOTE TO DESIGNERS:
It is NOT important to have reference to people anywhere in the design.
It IS important to have a lever image:
A lever is:
lev·er (lvr, lvr)
n.
1. A simple machine consisting of a rigid bar pivoted on a fixed point and used to transmit force, as in raising or moving a weight at one end by pushing down on the other.
2. A projecting handle used to adjust or operate a mechanism.
3. A means of accomplishing; a tool: used friendship as a lever to obtain advancement.
tr.v. lev·ered, lev·er·ing, lev·ers
To move or lift with or as if with a lever.
A lever is used to take a small amount of effort to create a big result.
The obvious link between TLA being the lever that with a small amount of effort creates a big difference in training outcomes needs to be captured visually in some ways.
In addition TLA will act as a lever for the training and coaching business's of our clients through being a lever between our skills and knowledge and their clients to increase the capacity and or revenue of their businesses.
I have answered some basic branding questions below:

Currently trading as Vivat Turning Learning into Action, with the online presence of http://www.vivatonline.com we are changing our positioning from selling directly to corporations (see our client list here... http://www.vivatonline.com/vivat-clients.htm ) to selling our services to coaches and trainers.
Lever Learning will train coaches and trainers to deliver 'Turning Learning into Action' (TLA) for their clients. Turning Learning into Action is a registered trade mark but is currently only a strap-line to Vivat.
I have loved the Vivat branding for 8 years and it has been memorable for clients but now we need a fresh and exciting look for Lever Learning.

I am looking for a logo design for Lever Learning.
It is important that the final design is able to be submitted in different formats for a variety of uses and resolutions that are web ready and print ready (.png and .jpg, mono and coloured.)
Eventually the logo will be used as a base for business cards, web site design (wordpress Genesis banner style), banners for websites and forms.
A style guide will be needed as themed models will also need to work alongside the lead lever learning logo.
Please include if you can help with elements in addition to the logo design.
I'm looking for a clean design and although it has a lever reference I don't want it to be too twee.
Style and looking professional are very important to us as well as coming across with energy and inspiration.
I will offer feedback on designs so you can adjust your designs to what I need.
