Metro New Orleans Sourcelink
I work for a governmental entity that is developing an information clearinghouse for entrepreneurs in the Greater New Orleans area. While I work for a governmental agency, I do not like things that often have the dull look associated with government.
The target audience includes entrepreneurs within the Greater New Orleans area. This varies from savvy techie startups to existing mom and pop retail shops.
I need a logo that brands the web portal that we are developing for entrepreneurs. The site will have a shared calendar where entrepreneurs can view all scheduled classes and events throughout the region as well as a filtered database, which creates tailored reports that connect entrepreneurs with the most appropriate resource providers based upon their specific needs. In addition, the site will feature a range of information pertinent to entrepreneurs including both start up and growing businesses.
We currently our working to fill out the shell of the website (http://www.sourcelinknola.org). I like the background colors currently used and would like for the logo to compliment or integrate with the present color scheme. However, I DO NOT LIKE many things about the present web design and will be working to modify things such as text and icons currently used on the home page. I do like the look and feel of the following website: semichiganstartup.com
I would like a logo that can go at the top of the website and be used to brand this initiative. In addition to being used on the website, the branding will likely be used in PPTs and other materials.
