hexcab got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design an engaging logo for file2cast web app
Check out hexcab's Logo design contest…
The file2cast web application gives lovers of audio books an easy way to put audio books on their mobile podcast player. Instead of installing another app they can use the podcast app they are already using. Users may have several audio files on their desktop or laptop computer which didn't come from streaming service like Audible but just a file download. With file2cast they can upload and arrange their audio files so that they produce an RSS podcast stream which can be consumed by any podcast player. Target audience are audiophiles more on the tech savvy side who listen to lots of podcasts, audio books and audio dramas / radio plays. The design might lean to a simpler style and it would be nice if the logo also works alone for itself without the name. Maybe a play on the RSS logo (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RSS) often found in podcasts etc. might be incorporated. But that's all not a must. We are open to every idea and are looking forward to your designs. :)
