Overview

Corporate Realty Services was formed in late 2009 by Austin resident Tim Harrington. Tim retained the consulting services of Stacy Ehrlich and Seeds for Change Consulting to manage and execute various business start-up tasks. While Tim will have ultimate approval, Seeds for Change is managing the logo project on his behalf. Our goal is to not complicate matters, but rather streamline communication and give important, vital (edited) feedback in an efficient and effective manner.

Tim has nearly 30 years of commercial real estate experience in Central Texas, having helped local, regional and national companies find office, warehouse and industrial space. Former clients include American Airlines, HEB, Dell and Morgan Stanley.

A vibrant, charismatic professional, Tim is launching his new company - Corporate Realty Services - Austin, also known as CRS-Austin. He is singularly focused on perfected customer service for commercial tenants. Tim delivers tremendous value by saving his clients time and money in their office and industrial space requirements.

Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach

Tim has a small, devoted group of approximately 50-60 former clients and inner circle network who use his services, refer business to him, and serve has solid professional references. He has a broader secondary circle of approximately 500 contacts including potential clients, other real estate brokers and industry service providers. Over the next two years, he hopes to double both groups.

A general terciary group would be the general Austin community and the greater national corporate market including any firm looking at Austin as a home of corporate and/or manufacturing headquarters.

Most of his audience are corporate professionals.

Requirements

Since the company is new, few people will - in the short term - readily connect Tim Harrington to CRS - Austin. With ample exposure our goal is to make this a subconscious connection. Strong graphics will help this process immeasurably.

Tim is looking for a highly professional logo that speaks to his Texas roots and mainly Texas market. 90% of his work is done in Austin so strong Austin visuals (skyline, river, etc.) could be compelling.

Tim is flexible with regards to actual graphics, color scheme. He has asked that the designer independently determine if CRS-Austin is used or the full name: Corporate Realty Services - Austin. Logo should be professional and masculine.

If designed in full color, the logo needs to be easily translated into a one or two color graphic and flexible enough to work on multiple media: in-house printed letterhead and business cards. It also needs to work electronically - website pages, emails, e-newsletters. Finally, in some instances it will be placed on building signage (think "HEB - another great tenant brought to this community by CRS-Austin" sort of thing).
