We are looking for a creative, inviting logo for our new Vacation Log Cabin Rental Business. We'll use this logo on our website, business cards, signs, brochures, T-Shirts, hats, and etched glassware. We may also ask for two more logos -- one for our Cabin Building Dealership and a Jewelry Business using the same "Creek's Crossing" logo, but with a different subtitle in lieu of "Cabins".
Creek's Crossing Cabins
Our cabins are located in an area with a high concentration of rental properties, so the more we can differentiate ourselves the better. The area is known for its hemlock, rock formations, caves, and creeks. It draws outdoor enthusiasts to explore lots of outdoor activities (especially hiking and exploring several local state parks natural attractions). It also attracts those who just want to relax in nature.
We chose our business name on what is indicative to the area -- there is a bridge over a creek to cross in order to get to the cabins. Also, we have gorgeous authentic log cabins -- not just a rental home or cottage. Our opening line on our website reads, "Visit one of our cabins and you'll discover a place where the peaceful surroundings of unspoiled nature combine with the homespun charm of a woodland retreat."
At a minimum we'd like to incorporate a simple cabin with a high pitch roofline (no chimney, but we do have large covered porches), a creek, and a hemlock or some hemlock trees (the bridge would be nice, but is optional). (Hemlocks are whispy evergreens with short needles and tiny pine cones. A link for more definition is: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsuga) Also... these images don't have to be depicted in their entirety or in great detail if you want to show portions in order to keep it a little cleaner. We're open to font style, but don't want it stiff. We want “Creek’s Crossing” text to be on one line with “Cabins” underneath in a smaller font.
- Must be in Vector Graphics or Adobe Illustrator
- Limit it to 2-3 colors
- Unique font treatment or creative lettering
- "Creek's Crossing" text should be prominent, with "Cabins" in a smaller font under "Creek's Crossing"
- Black & white version/ reversed also -- we may put on etched glassware
- No stiff or rigid fonts
- No generic clip art
