I can't say enough good things about my experience with heARTwork. Very easy to work with, got what I was looking for right away and delivered work that better than I could have expected.

11/8 Update: ***Designers, we have received a number of really good designs that embrace our original idea for the DealScoop logo. But you're more creative than us - using the details below please take creative license in creating a logo in a different direction - color, type, etc. we are open to any creative and fun ideas that you have. This has to live as our website logo for the longterm and might be used to make a sign on a retail store in the future. Have fun!****
DealScoop is a new deals site that sells refurbished electronics, furniture, and in the future...a lot more. This logo and design might one day sit on a building as a bricks and mortar retail store.
Our audience is huge. They are retail end users that shop from home and use Slickdeals.net, Amazon and Ebay to inform their decision and find the perfect products. We cater to people who want to save a few bucks and are open to taking a bit of a risk on a product that is "refurbished". They don't mind the "refurb" tag as long as they are saving some money. We have a customer support team that takes a playful approach to handling requests and we have a liberal return policy of 30 days on anything we sell.
Today we sell primarily to the US, but we will be expanding our sales channels to encompass all of North and South America.

11/8 Update: **Do not only look at my crappy drawing for direction. Please use your creativity to take the design elsewhere***
11/8 Update: My drawing tries to incorporate a spoon that would be scooping up a great deal, however I have a number of designs already that show this. Take the idea of the name in a new direction when creating a logo
This logo needs to be professional, polished, while showing the playful side of dealfinding. Good luck!
