My name is Christopher Wells. I'm originally from NY but I moved to Japan 7 years ago. I am an IT professional, most recently having worked for an international testing and certification company and VMware customer, TÜV Rheinland Japan, Ltd. I just recently completed an overseas move with my family back stateside to Chapel Hill, NC and have started a new position as a Virtualization Solutions Architect at NetApp. I have 13 years of experience at all levels of information technology. I've been working with Linux for about 10 years, virtualization (specifically VMware) for about 7 and enterprise storage for about the past 3 years. Virtualization is my true calling. The purpose of this blog is to give my perspective on happenings in the IT industry with respect to virtualization, cloud computing and enterprise storage systems. I occasionally will talk about new products and services but will also focus on my theories on where the industry is headed, which is a big passion of mine. In addition, I plan to maintain my contacts with Japan and supply the Japanese IT field with as much useful information as I can to help them through the difficult times ahead.
Logo types to explore
