Health/Design
We want a letterform logo, mainly using the title of our one-day symposium, "Health/Design." This is an event for designers who work with healthcare clients, doctors who do design work, digital health technology developers and startups, and others who work in this space (engineers, media scholars, public health communications experts, medical educators, other digital health stakeholders, etc.). We want a clean, minimalist look. Not too corporate, not too tech start-up. No clichéd healthcare imagery (ie no stethoscopes coming out of smartphones). Some kind of visual might be good, but mostly we want a design based on the name of the event. We will use this on a website, on emails, twitter, and e-posters. I selected "Art & Design" as our industry, but if I could pick two more I would add "healthcare" and "technology."
See above description. We want to appeal to youngish (18-50+ yer old) tech-savvy professionals who work in medicine/healthcare but are forward-thinking, not conservative, and open to experimental style. The event is sponsored by Rice University though that logo should not be included. It is also sponsored by the Medical Futures Lab (we like our letterform logo, which is attached below FYI but should not be included).
