Philipp Kainz got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create a catchy logo for our awesome IKOSA Artificial Intelligence platform
Check out Philipp Kainz's Logo design contest…
IKOSA (abstracted from icosahedron [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Icosahedron]) is a cloud platform (ikosa.ai) for digital image analysis based on artificial intelligence (especially Deep Learning [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Deep_learning]) and consists of two parts. 1. The first (user-facing) part is the IKOSA portal, for which this logo is primarily sought for. There, users can upload, annotate, share, organize and manage image data in projects. 2. The second part is a versatile and super-flexible image recognition API, which hosts tens of different image analysis applications, e.g. for object detection, or image classification. From the portal, users can start analyses and view the results. Major attributes of IKOSA are the simplicity and intuitive design of the user interface despite the huge portfolio of different image analysis applications. Since both parts can be used complementary, the ideal logo design should reflect that as well. For instance, we think of something like both logos are similar in shape and use complementary colors.
Our company logo is attached. If possible, please consider it in your design for the IKOSA logo. You may also use the domain IKOSA.AI in the design.

And then… they selected a winner!
Sandra was awesome. She submitted one of the first designs in our contest and was very quick to make the different tweaks that we asked for along the way. Very professional and well thought out work. I would recommend 1,000 times to use Sandra for any of your design needs.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
