South Park Animal Hospital
We are a brand new start-up animal hospital in South Austin. South Park Animal Hospital is still under construction with plans to provide South Austin a hip, esthetically appealing animal practice that services all of their pet health needs. Our mission is to provide superior quality medicine to pets of all species and excellent service to our clients, community, and team members. Our most common patients will be dogs and cats; however, the doctor has experience and a passion for exotic pets and will see most exotic pets (except for birds and monkeys). We want to project a positive and friendly image. We encourage our clients to do the best they possibly can to support their pet's health without using fear or guilt tactics. Client education is a huge focus for our clinic and the doctor will take the appropriate amount of time to discuss health and wellness solutions with the client. We plan to be as flexible as possible to meet clients needs by offering walk-in service, boarding, and on-call emergency care.
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
Our market is South Austin. There is a very eclectic and diverse mix of clients in this area. Our target market is middle class to upper middle class pet owners who consider their pet part of the family. We are not targeting any particular age group as there are people of all ages who feel this way about their pets. These are the people who spend time with their pets and take them out to experience this beautiful city together. Our prices will be about average for the veterinary industry. Our target clients will be responsible pet owners who spend the money for general pet wellness such as vacinations, dental cleanings, and periodic blood work for senior patients. We specifically want to target clients who may be unhappy with the other veterinary services they have experienced in the area or just want to become a part of a fresh new vet clinic where they will build a long-standing relationship with the doctor.
Because we do not know exactly what we want we hope for some creative results. We know that we want something fresh and new so the generic dog paw with a band-aid across it just won't do. Not saying that a paw should not be used in the design but if it is it should be fresh and different. Though we see exotic pets this does not necessarily need to be incorporated in the logo. If animals are used a dog and cat will represent our patients sufficiently. It should be more friendly than formal. It should be clean, fresh, and modern.
